As an AI/ML Program Manager, you will partner closely with the GSEM Sr. Principal Engineer and a cross-functional team to develop and execute a comprehensive AI/ML strategy for GSEM, focusing on supply chain, cost and business process efficiencies to enable foundry leadership. Your strategic leadership will be crucial in maintaining our organization at the cutting edge of AI and machine learning innovation, fueling growth, and amplifying our competitive edge in the semiconductor industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build and implement systems and processes for GSEM AI programs and initiatives that tie into the broader MSO AI strategy and working model.
  • Manage a portfolio of GSEM AI/ML projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and alignment with program goals and OKRs.
  • Actively engage and foster cross-functional collaboration across GSEM, Legal and other stakeholders to develop systems and processes to maximize the value of our AI/ML investments.
  • Execute GSEM AI/ML programs to completion, managing project resources and schedule and creating and communicating detailed project plans and status updates.
  • Identify potential strategic suppliers and other external organizations in which to collaborate on AI/ML projects and share knowledge, ensuring necessary stakeholder engagement.
  • Drive cultural and mind shift change within the organization to ensure AI/ML technologies are embraced and effectively integrated into business processes.
  • Recommend additional AI/ML opportunities to drive continued efficiencies and improvements for GSEM and MSO.
  • Communicate program progress and achievements to GSEM senior leadership, maintaining transparency and alignment throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Partner with MSO/TD to drive AI competency and training across GSEM employees.
  • Stay informed on AI/ML trends and advancements, incorporating new insights into GSEM's program strategy and initiatives.

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:

  • The ideal candidate will have supply chain transformational experience. Key skillset: a combination of business acumen, technical depth, organizational savvy and networking capabilities including exemplary communication skills to get results across multiple groups and disciplines.
  • Candidate should show strong Influencing capabilities outside of direct responsibilities.
  • Demonstrable experience driving complex business deals from conceptions, through negotiations to contract closure and supply ramp, including collaboration with engineering, legal, finance and supply chain operations.
  • Communication, coordination, organizational and multitasking experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering successful outcomes in a large organization.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree in in computer science, engineering, data science, artificial intelligence, or a related field.
  • 5+ years professional Project Management experience leading cross functional, complex technology projects or programs, with a focus on AI, machine learning, or data-driven initiatives.
  • Experience leading AI and Machine Learning projects with strong understanding of AI, machine learning, large language models, data science, and related technologies, tools and models.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • M.S. degree in in computer science, engineering, data science, artificial intelligence, or a related field
  • Experience using AI in practical applications to solve semiconductor factory and non-factory problems.
  • Experience in developing and nurturing relationships with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience defining AI system requirements, use cases, system flows and AI systems architecture.
  • Experience delivering technical programs from inception to delivery.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, act with urgency and fearlessness and quickly solve problems in a dynamic, lean, fast-paced environment.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in

US, California:$139,480.00-$209,760.00

Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
