Job Description: 

DMO, Disaggregated Manufacturing Organization, will play an important role in Intel's recently announced IDM 2.0 strategy to meet the accelerating global demand for semiconductors. New Mexico (NM) DMO has a unique charter to not only deliver high-volume manufacturing products but additionally design and develop Silicon Photonics, EMIB, Foveros, and others. The NM Equipment Planning Coordination Team is growing to meet the equipment installation needs for the coming years. We are adding Installation Engineers to manage the site's growing equipment installation scope.

NM Equipment Installation Schedule Project Manager manages the overall site multiyear schedule for all equipment installations and demos. The schedule includes programs of large scope, impact and complexity through all phases of the equipment lifecycle.

Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:

  • Schedule ownership and management for the NM site equipment installation, demo's and conversions.

  • Implementing schedule checks prior to publish to ensure accurate error free schedule is published.

  • Partnering with other teams and stakeholders to ensure schedule is accurate and meets customer needs.

  • Determines interdependencies and integration among multiple projects, teams, and stakeholders.

  • Implement continuous improvement to minimize manual work to update and publish the schedule.

  • Creates/tracks/adjusts the program schedule.

  • Assesses risks and identifies solutions to timely, efficient achievement of program goals.

  • Ensures that quality standards and budget constraints are met.

  • Ensures appropriate progress against schedule and takes remedial action as appropriate.

  • Prioritizes utilization of resources with other functions.

  • Influences business unit or cross-organizational strategies relevant to program goals.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a

plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Construction Management or Engineering field.

  • 2+ years of owning and managing complex schedules, 50+ plans in flight at once and durations 1+year for entire project.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Schedule software experience, preferably Primavera, MS Project, or related.

  • PMP certified.

  • Have a track record of equipment installation, new process startup activities, and knowledge of ramp process and equipment needs.

  • Knowledge of project schedule management techniques and methods like duration setting, milestone definition, constraint management, and interconnection logic.

  • Prior semiconductor scheduling experience.

  • Demonstrated experience with the operational assessments, working with external assessment teams, and developing and executing corrective action plans.

  • Advanced knowledge of and demonstrated experience strategizing, planning, developing, implementing, and managing process improvements.
