As a Facilities Engineering Intern your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:  

• Work with Intel Facilities Engineers to improve Mechanical and/or Electrical system health and reliability.

• Work within a facilities environment that offers hands on experience with industrial electrical and mechanical systems supporting critical lab and data center environments.

• Assume responsibility for one or more facilities operations projects to be completed within the duration of the internship.

The successful candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:

Qualifications:

Qualifications  

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.  Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

The candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or closely related field.

Preferred Qualifications: 

3+ months experience in any 2 of the following:

• Experience with application of sound engineering principles and technical problem solving.

• Experience with electrical and mechanical system drawings and schematics, such as electrical single-line drawings.

• Experience in engineering project management when operating within a set budget and schedule.

• Familiarity with Industrial and/t and distribution systems.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in

US, California:$40,000.00-$108,000.00

Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
