Centers of Excellence (COE) are a key driver to better understand, influence and grow our impact on the vertical and horizontal markets we service. The Project Management Office COE was created to drive both coordination, portfolio management, and prioritization methods across the COEs to maximize Intel's impact.

BCSE in partnership with the Center of Excellence organization is seeking a Data Scientist who is an expert in data preparation and analyzing multiple and complex datasets to obtain insights to inform recommendations and prioritization models to drive and optimize the business.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Partnering with IT to connect market intelligence, CRM sales data, and partner provided data. Provide requirements into IT planning to support data modeling needs.
• Collaborating with the other market intelligence (MI) and data community members within Intel to identify 3rd party market research material as well as internal datasets.
• Analyzing the data to provide data intelligence into prioritization models, identify commonalities to drive efficiencies.
• Collaborating with other organizations to leverage additional data sets and deploy AI models to further enhance data output and insights.
• Partner with PowerBI developers to develop a dashboard for display insights and outputs.
• Special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This Position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in data science, or any STEM degree.
• 5+ years of combined experience in:
  • Web scraping using open-source software and 3rd party APIs (e.g., Python, SQL).
  • Extracting data insights especially in business analytics (or related) domain.
  • SQL and Python, especially in standard data science libraries and frameworks such as pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow/Py Torch, Py Spark, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Expert in data wrangling and analyzing massive and complex datasets, structured or unstructured.
• Experience in requirement analysis, design and prototyping.
• Hands on experience with Analytics tools like Sql server analysis services, Azure Databricks, Snowflake.
• Transforming data using advanced SQL, DAX expressions with good understanding of data modelling concepts like Dimensional modelling, Entity relationship Modelling and Master data management.
• Experience working with external parties (e.g., vendors, consultants).

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in

US, California:$139,480.00-$209,760.00

Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
