Job Description: 

The Intel Automotive team is chartered to transform the automotive market by solving our customers' toughest challenges with innovative hardware and software offerings. Technological evolutions such as SW defined vehicles, cloud native development, standardized programming interface are accelerating the Automotive industry transformation. The ability to update and manage SW throughout the vehicle lifecycle is enabling newer value-added upgrades, enabling SW reuse and portability across multiple platforms and driving business efficiencies by leveraging cloud-based scale for both development and deployment. 

The Intel Automotive group is looking for a Senior Leader to develop a long-term growth strategy by building relationships and facilitating technology collaboration with partners, solution providers and system integrators to increase the preference for Intel architectures, position Intel product portfolio and programs aligned with Intel Automotive strategy to maximize Intel revenue opportunity.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Identify potential strategic partners and alliances that align with our business objectives and long-term growth strategy. Act as a catalyst for collaboration and engagement across the automotive ecosystem, ensuring inclusive partnerships that support growth for Intel Automotive.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic partners up to the CEO level, including technology leaders, SW solution providers, startups and disruptors, and any other relevant organizations with a goal to increase Intel's technology reach and impact while delighting our customers and increasing shareholder value.
  • Accountable for the execution of partnership initiatives outlined in Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs). Collaborate with cross functional teams to define alliance objectives, develop partnership models, negotiate agreements, and establish clear performance metrics. Develop innovative go-to-market partnerships.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Engineering, to identify and pursue new business opportunities through strategic alliances. Lead negotiations representing One Intel and close the most complex business agreements.
  • Collaborate with Legal and Finance teams to review, draft, and finalize partnership agreements, including confidentiality, intellectual property, revenue sharing, and liability provisions.
  • Report on progress and provide recommendations to Intel Automotive leadership. Stay up to date and be seen as an expert on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies within the automotive industry.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence to identify potential partnership opportunities and threats. Regularly track and report on alliance performance, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Responsible for enabling teams to execute through clear goal setting, facilitating work, maintaining accountability, applying differentiated performance management, and driving team results. Drives results by inspiring people, role modeling Intel values, developing the capabilities of others, and ensuring a productive work environment.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA or BS in Business Administration, Computer Science, Economics, or related field.
  • 6+ years work experience in high performance computing, automotive, AI or other relevant fields.  
  • 3+ years work experience in business development, working with external customers/partners. 
  • 3+ years work experience creating of go-to-market strategies and/or cross-organizational collaboration.   

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expert understanding of the Automotive ecosystem.
  • Excellent understanding of cloud-to-edge SW ecosystem, OTA, SW defined vehicles infrastructure and cyber security for automotive.
  • Experience with SW as Service, embedded SW design and development for automotive.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent influencing and presentation skills. Ability to effectively articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A team player with strong leadership and collaboration skills.
  • Broad knowledge of Automotive Vehicle System Architecture, automotive electronics, interfaces, and protocols used in automotive domain.
  • Knowledge and experience with Automotive safety standards.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in

US, California:$196,750.00-$314,670.00

Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
