As AI and HPC converge and reshape not only computing, but also business and society, Intel is making major bets on the future of AI and HPC in data center computing. Intel's Datacenter and AI Solutions, DAIS organization leads Intel's HPC efforts for Intel's CPUs and accelerators, and associated software and systems. Intel's DAIS teams work spans entire data center workloads from generative AI, and deep learning to media analytics, HPC and graphics.
DAIS team is seeking an experienced Industry veteran technical leader with a background in engineering, technology, and strategy to lead Intel's HPC efforts.
This leader will report to the DAIS Customer Solution Engineering, CSE team. CSE organization drives our customer technical engagement. CSE drives design-in, onboarding and architecting solutions for their key care abouts from silicon all the way to systems. We engage with OxM and CSPs, and their customers, to build deep technical knowledge of their HPC and AI infrastructure and help drive customer success.
Responsibilities:
- Be Intel's voice into the industry HPC community, including government labs, commercial customers, ecosystem partners, e.g., CSPs, HPC ISVs, and end users.
- Be the single point owner for HPC across our product and contribute to HPC strategy along with product team and drive HPC segment and solution.
- Drive customer engagement by partnering with Intel's sales organization to lead technical proposals for customers and drive key design wins and deal wins.
- Lead Intel HPC thought leadership development, messaging, external visibility plan.
- Understand customers KPI, HPC workloads and help position Intel HPC products to achieve customer desired outcome and drive Intel business growth.
- Own prioritization and oversight of HPC software optimization
- Gather key inputs from customers, and partner with product management on inputs for future products.
- Experience in leading technical teams and navigating in a matrixed organization.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years' experience in customer and government engagement in HPC, cloud and data center industry. Known and respected in HPC community with strong relationship.
- Experience is building and supporting large HPC systems with deep understanding of CPU,GPU, Networking and storage needs for high end HPC systems, on prem, as well as on CSP.
- Understanding of HPC players, including OxM, CSP, ISV and GSI partners.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Effective communication and presentation skills can effectively convey complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of key HPC, AI and datacenter technologies across silicon, system, software
- Ecosystem enabling and/or industry standards development experience preferred.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in
US, California:$999.00-$999,999.00Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.
Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.More Information
