CS Advanced Industrial Systems (CS-AIS) consists of deploying and maintaining automated capabilities such as:

  • Artificial intelligence and advanced analytics models

  • Business Intelligence self-service capabilities

  • Industrial asset digital footprints, improving our data in our systems

  • Predictive maintenance of industrial assets, optimizing cost

  • Digital chemical tracking and traceability

  • Environmental Health and Safety automation systems

  • Enhanced regulatory compliance tracking tools

  • Data warehouse technologies and ETL capabilities

  • Remote Operations at a global scale

  • Industrial robotics and application for efficiency and safety

  • Industrial IoT instrumentation

Advanced Industrial Systems - Industrial Automation team is looking for an Intern that can assist with maturing robotics and IoT solutions that are being considered for deployment on a global scale; to extend the reach of existing capabilities by use of autonomous robotic solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to work in one of the world's leading semiconductor manufacturers working with real-world complex systems to help our clients maximize equipment uptime, avoid interruption to production, reduce costs, and make more informed decisions.

As an CS-AIS IIoT and Robotics Intern your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Learn new programming languages to support innovative technologies brough into corporate services

  • Programming new and innovative robotic solutions to perform autonomous tasks

  • Programming CNC machines to perform autonomous tasks

  • Own and drive Industrial IoT projects from conception to implementation

  • Support the development and delivery of IoT projects across corporate services

  • Collaborate and engage with CS technology groups to understand their needs and deliver value-add.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field of study.

  • 3+ months of experience programming in C+, Python, G-Code, or similar.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in 1 of the following :

  • Knowledge of robotics or CNC concepts.

  • Knowledge of data communication, network, software application, and web-based architectures.

  • Knowledge of radio technology (LoRa, 5G, WiFi, or similar), understanding of communication protocols (MQTT).
