The Intel Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) has been delivering industry-leading custom logic solutions to customers since inventing the world's first reprogrammable logic device in 1984. To take advantage of the many opportunities that we see in the future for FPGA's, PSG is looking for great software engineers to join our team. We are looking for someone to direct and manage a team of FPGA validation board and software infrastructure engineers, develops software and testing boards for FPGA validation, including the design, development, troubleshooting, validation, and/or debugging of the system for enhancements.

We are seeking a Technical Leader with hands-on experience and expertise in building sharable hardware pools with remote access for software and design blocks development, troubleshooting, and validation.

The successful incumbent will provide the following but not limited to:

  • Research, design, develop, and optimize software tools that enable use of Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) for validation applications.

  • Build service based and scalable lab operations allowing efficient use of shared hardware resources.

  • Design, develop, and optimize hardware harness and software abstractions for remote access and troubleshooting of hardware and software integration challenges.

  • Respond to customer/client requests or events as they occur.

  • Coach / lead the team to ensure efficient operation.

  • Provide excellent communication and teamwork to increase productivity.

  • Work in a fast-paced dynamic environment for FPGA board farm hosting infrastructure to debug and problem solve as needed.

  • Lead teams across different time zones and geographical locations.

Qualifications:

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering with 9+ years of experience, or a master's degree in electrical or computer engineering with 7+ years of relevant work experience.

 

Minimum Experience

  • 7+ years of FPGA Hardware or Software infrastructure development.

  • 7+ PCB (printed circuit board) board design experience.

  • FPGA board design.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in

US, California:$156,410.00-$250,410.00

Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.
