Job Description: 

As a PDK circuit QA engineer, you will be required to design various custom analog circuits and perform circuit simulations using various circuit simulators such as Spectre, HSPICE, Primesim etc to verify whether the simulated specs meet the target. You will then be running post layout simulations on the same circuits and compare the results with the pre layout simulations. While running the post layout simulations, you will cover various PDK collaterals and flows constructed using tools such as ICV, Pegasus, Calibre, Starrc, QRC etc. Furthermore, you will be required to debug and perform root cause analysis to uncover why certain combinations failed and report the same in an internal ticketing system. You will also be required to develop scripts and automations around the QA flow just described.

Qualifications:

Candidate should have good knowledge about PDK, Pcells/Pycells, Front End and Back End custom analog design. Candidate should have B.E(Electrical/Electronics) + 6 Years experience or M Tech(VLSI) + 4 Years of experience. Candidate should have strong analog design and circuit fundamentals and knowledge of SPICE. Basic experience with Schematic capture in Virtuoso and setting up simulation test-benches, is desired. Candidate should have automation skills - Skill, TCL and/or Python. Good written and verbal communication skills are a must.
