Job Description: 

1. Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain the Ab Initio software suite and related components on servers. 2. Platform Monitoring: Continuously monitor the Ab Initio platform to ensure system health and performance, promptly addressing any issues or anomalies. 3. User Support: Provide technical support to users, including troubleshooting issues, resolving user requests, and assisting with job scheduling. 4. Security Management: Implement and maintain security measures, including user access controls, encryption, and authentication to protect data and systems. 5. Backup and Recovery: Set up and manage data backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery capabilities. 6. Patch and Upgrade Management: Keep Ab Initio software up to date by applying patches and updates, and plan and execute version upgrades when necessary. 7.Training and Knowledge Sharing: Provide training and knowledge sharing sessions for users and colleagues to enhance their proficiency in using the platform.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience in Ab Initio platform administration. 2. Strong understanding of data integration, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data warehousing concepts. 3. Proficiency in UNIX/Linux operating systems. 4. Familiarity with scripting languages, such as Shell or Python. 5. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. 6. Knowledge of data security practices and compliance standards.
