The GPU SW Performance Team is looking for an experienced SW Engineer to work on profiling and optimizing games for Intel GPUs (both integrated and discrete).

The sub-team you will be joining focuses on improving game performance before their release. We achieve that through driver optimizations and working with game developers – providing feedback. We are also responsible for developing and maintaining an internal workload profiling system.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Analyzing game performance by profiling and workload analysis

• Implementing new driver optimizations and improving existing ones

• Working with Intel’s Dev Tech Engineers to recommend more optimal solutions to game developers

• Analyzing large data sets of profiling results, to recommend what optimizations to focus on

• Developing internal testing automation systems

Qualifications:

• Good knowledge of C++ and working knowledge of Python

• Knowledge of at least one 3D Graphics API

• Knowledge of modern 3D rendering techniques and GPU architecture would be an additional asset, as well as knowledge of any game engine

• An open-minded person, able to think analytically

• Ability to work as part of a team and on solo projects

• English language: B2+
