Job Description: 

In this position, the candidate would play a technical leadership role in SOC functional validation in Automotive Domain. The candidate will be responsible for Silicon-level (pre/post) HW architectural validation and finding design implementation bugs through Post Si system-level validation and debug tools leverage. As a Post Silicon Validation Engineer, you are required to create, define and develop system validation environment and test suites optimized for CPU or its subsystems like memory controller, Power management, PCIe, USB/TCSS, Serial IO, Functional Safety, Graphics, media, audio and other complex modules. Uses and applies emulation and platform-level tools and techniques to ensure functionality and performance as per spec. You are responsible for the development of methodologies, execution of validation plans/ coverage, and debugging of failures. Requires broad understanding of multiple system areas and requires interfaces with Architecture, Design, and Pre-silicon Validation teams in improving post-silicon test content and providing feedback for future features. You are responsible for validating the functionality of new architectural features of next-generation designs. You are the focal point between a member of Architecture, Design, System software developers and Validation teams within Intel and across different sites.

Qualifications:

� Candidate should have past experience in SOC post-silicon validation. Strong background in computer architecture, memory, networks and system architecture. � Develop, implement test cases, review implementations and provide feedback, drive quality and performance efforts � Strong technical background in silicon validation, failure analysis and debug � Contribute to device boot/silicon bring-up, debug, and feature development. � Proven ability to drive solutions to complex cross-functional technical problems working with senior technical peers/partner organizations. � Broad expertise covering all phases of the design and validation cycle � Excellent communication skills � Escalate technical issues and risks, with appropriate data, to management to take immediate actions. � Strong competence in C/C++ and automation languages such as Python/Perl/TCL � Innovative thinker, able to propose/drive solutions to tough product definition challenges to meet performance and functional requirements. � Experience in Graphics, DDR, media, video, HSIO and security are an added advantage. � Bachelor of Science/Engineering in Electrical/Electronics/Computer engineering or associated discipline with 8+ years of experience OR master's degree /PhD with 6+ years of experience
