Job Description: 

This position is a critical role in Intel Assembly/Test Planning (ATP) Organization within the Customer Fulfillment Planning and Logistics (CPLG) Organization. The ATP organization employs over 120 employees and is responsible for planning activities across various stages of Assembly/Test to deliver on-time supply to our customers and meet revenue commitments.

The Assembly/Test Planning Transformation Lead will provide thought leadership and help drive ATP transformation in support of Intel strategy to develop OSAT capabilities. You will bring in Industry Best in Class Supply Planning practices from OSAT’s defining requirements for our future state capabilities and implementation of a multi-year capability (people, process, and tools) roadmap. This is a trusted leadership position that is integral in setting and implementing ATP capability in support of Intel’s OSAT strategy.

As the Assembly/Test Planning Transformation lead, you will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Serve as a visionary for the ATP organization bringing in outside-in perspective for Industry Best-In-Class OSAT practices and market intelligence for supply and demand planning (forecast to stock), order management (order to cash), customer engagement (opportunity to order)
  • Knowledge of advanced problem-solving, business process mapping, documenting requirements, and key design decisions
  • Compare Intel's capabilities with Best-In-Class capabilities (people, process, and tools) defining a multi-year prioritized capability roadmap driving our transformational needs to become a leader in the OSAT market
  • Shape the direction and formulate approaches including ATP organization key objectives to address critical supply planning challenges and turn ATP capability roadmap into action
  • Work with external consultants, internal partners, and senior leaders being a strong ATP influential voice on the rational for the capabilities needed.  Maintain an internal mapping of strategic initiatives and their scope. Identify the critical connection/integration points between initiatives and define the link/impact to ATP capability roadmap, helping our operational people grow their overall supply chain and OSAT acumen.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Preferably 10+ years direct work experience at an OSAT in supply planning, demand planning, S & OP, S & OE (Sales & Operation Planning, Sales & Operation Execution)
  • History of leading strategic planning transformations in ERP (Equipment Requirements Planning)/Planning systems (SAP, Blue Yonder, etc.) for Order Management
  • Experience in customer engagement, capacity utilization, and OSAT industry best practices for capabilities (people, business processes, key decisions, and tools)

Education:

  • Preferably a graduate degree and related study in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or System Engineering.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
