Job Description: 

In this position, you will be part of the Xeon Memory Group Team working on Storage technology. As a System Software Development Engineer, you will participate in many innovative projects, and apply your expertise in a fast-paced technology-driven environment. You'll be part of a bright engineering team that has open communication, empowerment, innovation, teamwork, and a customer success culture. The ideal candidate will have a strong self-directed work ethic and a can-do attitude. Strong written and verbal communication skills with proven analytical and critical thinking and a demonstrated ability to work with remote engineering teams are required for this position. Join the team of people creating innovative solutions for server Enterprise Market. You will be responsible for the following: - Actively participating in all stages of software development lifecycle (e.g. requirements definition and analysis, design, implementation and post-release support activities, etc.) - Investigate technologies and solutions which could help the team to continuously improve their development process - Contribute to architecture, external interfaces definition, and play independent role in source code development, review and maintenance - Utilise skills to plan, reach milestones and reduce risk by identifying problems, developing solutions scoping, and estimating tasks. Documenting design, specifications and requirements

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering - 3+ years of programming experience in C, C++ - Experience in designing and implementing Windows or Linux based applications / drivers - Able to provide technical leadership, mentoring and direction to junior design engineers in the group and able to come up with technical proposals helping implementation - Strong analytical ability, problem solving and verbal/written communication skills - Ability to work both independently as well as in a team environment - Experience working with worldwide teams Additional Preferred Qualifications: - Prior experience working on storage-related projects and architectures - Experience in working with server hardware What We Offer: At Intel, you come to work in a collaborative, supportive environment, where your equally brilliant colleagues will push you to be your best.
