Job Description: 

The Supply Chain Engineering Manager position is an exciting opportunity to lead a technical team of supply chain and factory engineers while significantly expanding your professional network. Our candidate will be at the cutting edge of high-performance computing systems manufacturing, enabling the next generation of tester technology for Intel and our customers.  If you are a self-driven, multi-faceted individual whose idea of fun includes enabling a high impact team across organizations, then this position is for you.

This role will partner directly with internal Technology Development teams, Systems Integration and Manufacturing Services (SIMS), Global Supply Chain (GSC), Systems Supply Chain (SSC), and external suppliers to enable the delivery of new Test Systems for Class Test and Sort Platforms in Intel's HVM environment. The Supply Chain Engineering Manager is accountable for SIMS component quality and supply chain technical support. The manager must be able to influence across organizational boundaries in a way that builds teams.

As a manager you will manage an engineering team that focuses on component level quality within our system assembly factory, ensuring that our team can balance Intel's product level quality and cost goals by driving both manufacturing and suppliers. Your team will track supply chain performance against targets and collaborate with supply chain leads to drive continuous improvement with implementation of innovative solutions. The team will be responsible to develop a comprehensive set of performance metrics to assess supply chain health and communicate metric performance and project status to global operations leadership.

As a leader you will manage relationships with suppliers and our factory, align philosophical business partnerships and working models across executive leadership at both internally and externally.   You will establish and execute product specific sourcing strategies, quality performance metrics and ensure supplier roadmaps are well aligned to Intel needs across relevant business areas. Drive the use of market intelligence across the organization particularly for new business development or areas where expertise is needed. Define the strategy, executes plans, and drive excursion prevention programs to develop suppliers through continuous improvement ensuring consistent supply.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:
� Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Manufacturing Engineering, or other engineering disciplines.
� Team Management Experience or leadership of cross functional teams.
� 5+ years of experience in related fields, Supply chain management, PCBA or product Assembly Technology Development, or other related disciplines.
� Experience with Material reliability and qualification standards and methods.
� Analytical skills including data analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:
� Statistical process controls and quality systems for the manufacturing process.
� Hands on experience with component quality.
� Hands on experience with board and system manufacturing.
� Demonstrating the business acumen and courageously driving change align with the business objectives.
