Job Description: 

Design and Validation of the Reference/Validation boards. Responsible for prototype HW design. Responsible for designing the HW as validation vehicle or Customer Reference design for Intel silicon. The engineer is responsible for collecting the requirements from Internal customers and design a HW to meet Intel platform/silicon validation. Design efforts includes understanding platform architecture and requirements to come up with design specification, schematics capture and integration, PCB layout review against design guides, DFM/DFT requirements, component selection, release of Bill of Materials, support and release of relevant documents and test plans. Ensures products conform to standards and specifications. Electrical or Electronics engineer with High speed board design experience to design validation or reference design HW. Candidate should have strong basic electronics background Should have in depth knowledge of digital design, transmission lines, microcontroller based designs, Power electronics areas. Experience in High speed board design, Signal integrity and power integrity is must Hands on experience on Intel silicon, DDR, PCIE, USB/USBC, Audio, display and camera is desired Working on automotive electronics would be added advantage Hands on experience on cadence concept sch entry tool is desired Strong analytical ability, problem solving and communication skills Ability to work both independently and in a team environment Should have the ability to quickly identify the new technologies/interfaces and arrive at board design architecture Should be well versed in various scripting tools for design correctness checks Should be able to handle high end scopes, logic analyzer and appropriate tools required for board debug

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: B. Tech with 5-7 yrs/ M.Tech with 4-6 yrs of Industry experience in High speed board design or system design field. Knowledge of Board design development lifecycle from requirements collection to Gerber release and validation. Knowledge of type of PCB Stack up, routing guidelines for high speed interfaces is desired. Knowledge of BOM, Schematics design and layout review required. Preferred Qualifications: Concept HDL tool for Schematics design. Allegro PCB Editor for Layout review.
