In the Data Platform Engineering Operations (DEO) Group, we optimize investments, infrastructure and platform solutions deployable for internal development and ecosystem enabling at scale. Within this org, the Director of Product Development and Execution will manage a team of Sr Development Managers. Program Managers (PDT Leads) and Ops Leads responsible for driving cross functional engineering team (Brd, SI, Thermal Mech, Validation, QRE, FW Ops., etc.) design, deployment and validation of Si enabling platforms, systems and infrastructure in support of datacentric businesses and products. Within DEO, the selected technical leader will specifically be responsible to oversee and deliver all key platforms and technologies for the Xeon SP/AP/E roadmap. As a leader of leaders, they will provide direction and goals to the group and specific guidance on employee development, performance, and productivity, continually driving for efficiency through innovation, execution optimizations, etc.Interacting with both internal and external stakeholders, they will:Drive the team to execute to BU Product Roadmap Deliverables.Establish strategic business relationships with all key customers/stakeholder.Drive Execution Excellence: Ensure robust Product Implementation Plan and Execute to Plan in adherence to Platform PLC/QRC/Budget Requirements for all platforms.Influence strategic planning and roadmap portfolio to determine the future direction of the organization and ensure continued growth and success.Proven track record of product management and knowledge of Intel product development lifecycle and how to successfully drive products to completion.Manages wide range of stakeholders and work across the board - from VPs and Fellows to senior engineers.Strong mix of technical breadth and depth, business acumen and project management skills are required.Excellent grasp of server designs at a board, system and highly integrated solutions level.Good knowledge and experience in Si Reference Platform, datacenter workloads, usages, and deployments.Technical aptitude to bridge strategy to product implementation, and vice versa.Behavioral skills:Comfortable working across organizational and functional boundaries in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment.Must be a problem solver - able to come up with creative solutions, adapting to changing data and situations.Significant leadership experience in implementing and driving complex processes and task teams and working cross-divisionally across all levels of Intel.Excellent presentation and communication skills with experience presenting to senior executive teams.Extreme responsiveness and adapts to change.

Qualifications:

Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science and/or MBA with 12+ years of experience in product development or high-level program leadership roles (e.g. PXT lead, Mission Control lead, Design Manager or TPM)Experience of the technical issues associated with the Intel product development, architectures, systems, development methods. Customer and ecosystem enabling is desired, although candidates with other technical backgrounds will be considered.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
