Job Description: 

This position is within the Intel Information Security Governance, Risk and Compliance organization as a valuable member of the Cyber Risk and Privacy Compliance Team.

Primary responsibilities for the Information Security Risk Specialist:

  • Participates in internal security privacy assessments and compliance reviews, conducts risk analysis of business processes and technology solutions to evaluate whether they comply with internal security, privacy policies and standards as well as regulatory/industry requirements and best practices.
  • Documents security procedures, maintains the cyber risk registry and reports on continual improvement efforts.
  • Contributes to security and privacy risk assessments which identify threats, consequences, and vulnerabilities to business unit key assets, products, and services.
  • Ensures adequate security processes and solutions are in place to mitigate or remediate identified risks sufficiently to meet business objectives, contractual, and/or regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in development of enterprise and business group information security and privacy policies to protect Intel's information assets, intellectual property, and privacy data.

Qualifications:

  • Student studying towards a BSc/MSc/LLB/LLM, in Cyber Security, Information Systems, Computer Science, Law, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or other relevant field with at least 3 semesters until graduation.
  • Availability of at least 3 days/week is required. Some flexibility in working hours will be required for afternoon and evening meetings.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Hebrew & English (written and spoken).
  • Ability to drive projects to completion while working independently.
  • Is a quick learner and autodidact who is able to handle ambiguity.
  • Knowledge and understanding of information security and risk and privacy concepts.
  • Strong customer orientation while ensuring information and privacy risk-management processes are followed.  Ability to build long-lasting relationships with customers.
  • Influencing and persuading skills across all organizational levels, Analytical, problem solving, innovation skills and collaborative approach.
  • Experience in following areas: cloud security, data analysis, data governance, data privacy, data privacy regulations, data security methodologies, enterprise networking systems, enterprise risk management, information security, IT security fundamentals, penetration testing, security ecosystem and risk mitigation, and security risk assessment is a plus
  • Knowledge of industry standard information and security frameworks / Privacy Frameworks such as ISO27001, ISO27005, NIST CSF, NIST 800-39, FIPPs, OECD Privacy Guidelines, GAPP Maturity Model, ISO 27701, NIST Privacy Framework, GDPR, HIPPA, CPRA is a plus
  • Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CIPP, CIPM, CISSP, CRISC or GSEC is a plus

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
