We are looking for an exceptional Test Engineer to join Thunderbolt Product & Test Engineering (PDE) team in Haifa.

Collaborate with the Best: Work closely with our talented design and validation teams, gaining exposure to a variety of challenges and projects, and playing a key role in bringing new products to market successfully. 

Problem-Solving: Take on complex issues head-on. Analyze test results to identify and debug potential roadblocks, driving cross-functional teams to achieve seamless resolutions. 

Documentation and Communication: Be a reliable source of knowledge. Maintain comprehensive test documentation, share your insights, and contribute to cohesive teamwork. 

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in post-silicon validation and testing of semiconductor products, preferably in high-speed interface technologies like Thunderbolt, USB, PCIe, or related fields. 

  • Solid understanding of semiconductor testing methodologies, including bench testing, ATE (Automated Test Equipment) - preferably Advantest 93K, and JTAG-based testing. 

  • Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in test automation, such as Python, C++. 

  • Familiarity with hardware description languages (HDL) like Verilog or VHDL for test development and debugging. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues efficiently. 

  • Proficiency in Data Analysis tools such as JMP, Yield Explorer or similar 

  • Knowledge of industry standards and compliance testing related to Thunderbolt or similar high-speed interfaces is highly desirable. 

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. 

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
