Intel Incubation and Disruptive Innovation (IDI) organization is looking for a Senior System Engineer to join RealSense Research and Development Software group.
Our Research and Development team is focused on developing and introducing state-of-the-art 3D cameras that set the stage for ground-breaking innovations. Our goal is to help our customers to power up and boost industrial and operational robotics automation by providing them a smarter Depth-Camera with the capability to see, analyze and make independent decisions in real time. Our platform includes the 3D camera's SDK, applications, firmware and drivers, which really means working on a new and exciting robotics field with multiple areas of SW engineering and opportunities for growth.

What will you do?
As a Senior System Engineer on our SW group, focusing on 3D Cameras and Computer Vision, you will carry the following responsibilities:
- Closely work with our SW chief-architect to define and design detailed software architectures for 3D camera systems and computer vision tools.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers, algorithm developers, and other stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to system development.
- Create comprehensive technical documentation, including system architecture, design specifications, and code documentation.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of system requirements and ensure that software solutions align with overall project goals.

- Integrate software components into the overall system, ensuring seamless interoperability with hardware and numerous software modules.
- Work with Verification Engineers to conduct thorough testing and verification of software components.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or any related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Software System Engineer, preferably with a focus on 3D cameras and computer vision applications.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, and experience with relevant frameworks (e.g., OpenCV).
- Experience in computer vision algorithms, 3D reconstruction, and image processing- Advantage.
- Familiarity with hardware-software integration and optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
