Our Purchasing department is responsible for Fab Materials sourcing and spares supply chain management supporting Intel production. The department deals with supply chain management of parts, including inventory management, supply process improvements, cost reduction evaluations and initiations, supplier contract management, quality issue assessment, inventory reports generation, spare parts management, and more. As a student in this department, you will support Materials Project Managers, this includes: Defining inventory needs with fab customers, create consumption forecast, Supply chain reports and analysis, Inventory management, Track inventory reports to assess operational risk and set mitigation plans with suppliers and customers, provide supply chain operational support to fab customers, manage supplier performance to ensure the supply chain is healthy and cost effective. The work is carried out with customers at the factory, suppliers both local and international, and counterparts located abroad. The student will integrate into the procurement team and actively participate in ongoing activities. Among other things, you will be involved in defining customer requirements in production, creating inventory consumption forecasts, analyzing and monitoring suppliers, creating regular inventory management and maintenance reports. Additionally, the work will involve defining inventory items in systems and data updating. The work is performed using Microsoft Office and specialized software for inventory management and supply chain. It is done in small teams with full support and training.Qualifications:
You should be studying for a BA/ BSc or MA/ MSc/ MBA degree in Finance or Purchasing related fields such as Economics, Finance, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, and/or Business Management with at least 2 years before graduation. The position requires availability of a minimum of three days per week, with consideration and flexibility during the exam period ((hybrid work from home and from Kiryat Gat). High level of English- reading, writing, and speaking, and very good analytical skills are required.
