DAIS Customer Solution Engineering AI reshapes not only computing, but also business and society, Intel is making major bets on the future of AI and particularly in data center computing. Intel's Datacenter and AI Solutions (DAIS) organization is a critical part of Intel boarder AI efforts. Our DAIS responsibility spans data center workloads from generative AI and deep learning to analytics, HPC, and graphics - all of which are intertwined in the future of computing. This role designs and develops GPU board, Product and System design for GPU/AI Accelerator Server platforms. Responsible for prototype HW design. Responsible for designing the HW as validation vehicle, product cards or Reference systems for Intel discrete GPU for HPC/AI platforms. The engineer is responsible for collecting the requirements from Marketing and Product Arch, translating those into System architecture document. As part of the process candidate prepares specifications, evaluates vendors, and conducts various trade of analysis. Ensures products conform to standards and specifications. Required Experience � Bachelor/Master's/Doctorate degree in Electrical or Electronics and Communications Engineering. � Candidate should have strong basic electronics background � Should have in depth knowledge of digital design, transmission lines, CPU and GPU designs, Power electronics areas. � 10+ years of experience in High speed board design, Signal integrity and power integrity � Hands on experience on Intel silicon, GDDR/HBM, PCIE G5/G6, HSIO SERDES is desired � Should have worked on Power delivery subsystems � Strong analytical ability, problem solving and communication skills � Ability to work both independently and in a team environment � Deep understanding of other subsystems such as thermal, mechanical, EMI/EMC and Power electronics domains � Good to have knowledge in scripting languages like Perl /Python

Qualifications:

Desired Qualifications � Familiarity of tradeoffs between Power/thermal and other design parameters (mechanical, electrical, etc.) � Familiarity with PCIe and OAM form factors � Power DC and AC simulation tools � Familiarity with OAM/OCP Products � Debug of System and board level Power issues Minimum Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 5+ years of experience or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field and 3+ years of experience
