We are looking for a senior Design Engineering Manager ready to lead multiple teams as we research, design, develop, and test lead Intel designs and reimagine how to build SOCs at Intel and in the semiconductor industry. This role is within Intel's highly-regarded Devices Development Group, headquartered in Portland, Oregon with additional sites in Penang, Malaysia, and Bangalore, India. We are looking for a manager who will function as a technical leader in the team, driving initiatives and expanding team capabilities. You will be responsible for driving and productizing design features and initiatives. Your responsibilities may include, but not be limited to:

* Defining and meeting team schedules

* Interfacing with partner organizations

* Managing interdependencies across multiple projects, teams, and stakeholders

* Synthesizing, abstracting, and representing complex information into clear, refined messages

* Assessing risks and identifying solutions to efficient achievement of program goals

* Demonstrating leadership in growing and developing team members to reach their full potential

The ideal candidate should exhibit behavioral traits that indicate:

Qualifications:

* BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field

* Minimum 10 years’ experience in silicon and/or VLSI design

* Minimum 6 years’ experience in managing or leading technical teams

Preferred Qualifications:

* 15+ years’ experience in silicon design

* 10+ years’ experience in managing a technical team

* 5+ year's experience with RTL coding and logic design techniques and convergence with high quality to Design constraints

* Familiarity with client micro-architecture, including power management flows, and memory ordering and coherency
