We are looking for an SoC (System on Chip) Clocking Engineer; This roles responsibilities include, planning, implementing and analyzing clock distribution from SoC level to leaf level. Proficient in different clocking strategies and methodologies . This roles requires practical knowledge with hierarchical designs , budgeting of latencies and skews. Responsibilities include planning, implementing, and analyzing high-speed clock distribution networks from the root to leaf. Exposure to different strategies for clock distribution including balanced trees, mesh and forwarded clocks. Ability to comprehend Functional and Test clocking requirements in to design. Demonstrate and implement integration of clocking IP from both internal and external vendors and be able to communicate the requirements in the physical domain. Practical knowledge with hierarchical design approach, top-down design, budgeting and timing. Having expertise with complex SoC designs with frequencies 2GHz is add-on advantage .

Qualifications:

Candidate must have around 10+ years of experience with Master Degree in Micro Electronic with hands on experience in design & verification of high speed clocks for complex SoCs in Client, Server or AI class of products. This roles requires hands-on knowledge with hierarchical designs, budgeting of latencies and skews for the SoC.  Translating the architectural and physical requirements in to design of high speed structured clocks that meets those requirements in delivering quality clock over 200mm2 or bigger die area. Candidate should have worked on transistor level simulation expertise to plan the clock tree during TR phase and to signoff the clock trees at TO. Practical knowledge with hierarchical design approach, top-down design, budgeting, timing & DCD signoff is required. Expertise in automation to accelerate the design implementation is an added advantage.
