The oneAPI Architecture team within Intel's Tools/DevOps team and Developer Software Engineering group is seeking a Software Engineering Manager for the oneAPI Developer Environment Software Engineering team, charged with developing tools, scripts, and IDE plugins to simplify complexity for software developers who use Intel oneAPI. The team is expected to work closely with the Tools/DevOps Install and Packaging teams to provide a world-class developer experience for Intel oneAPI users.

Job Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage a team of software engineers responsible for the development and validation of software over multiple areas of the software lifecycle, including design, development, validation, debug, optimization, and product support.
- Oversee the development of developer environment software as well as tools and software infrastructure.
- Enable the team to execute through clear goal setting, facilitating work, maintaining accountability, applying differentiated performance management, and driving team results.
- Drive results by inspiring people, role modeling Intel values, developing the capabilities of others, and ensuring a productive work environment.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree with 4+ years experience and 2+ years of management or team lead experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead engineering projects, driving results for business objectives according to established timelines
- Proficient in one of the following programming languages: .NET / C#, C++, Python, TypeScript / JavaScript, Go and Java
- Experience working with at least one of VSCode, Visual Studio and Eclipse IDE extensions/plug-ins
- Experience in Windows and Linux operating systems
- Experience with GitHub Actions or Jenkins CI
- Experience with version control (git) and bug tracking systems (Jira)
- Disciplined, a strong sense of responsibility, and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with intermediate or above spoken/written English
