The Developer Software Engineering (DSE) Group is looking for a student intern to join the team in the development of software tools for research, develop, and optimize industry leading performance data of hardware collectors using Intel VTune Profiler. We are looking for a candidate for a temporary position who has not yet graduated and is working towards a relevant Bachelor's, Specialist's, or Master's degree from a relevant academic institute. A Student employee can do specific work in the area of their future degree or work as a Generalist in a specific department. The Studentship is limited in time with the intent to hire into an College Graduate/ Technical Graduate position as appropriate.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science Engineering, or Electronics and Communication Engineering with Software Development focus area. - Relevant coursework in computer architecture, software engineering, and operating systems. - Sufficient competence in C/C++ - Basic knowledge of Python Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree in Software Development area - Good knowledge of C/C++ (standard data structures, RAII, bonus to who aware and can explain SFINAE) - Experience in parallel programming (MPI, OpenMP) or AI workloads - Familiarity with Python, bash/shell, or other scripting languages - Problem-solving, triage, debugging skills Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
