Job Description: 

Join a team of researchers at Intel Labs responsible for developing next generation distributed computing and wireless networks that deliver deterministic performance for emerging time-sensitive applications. The candidate is expected to have a strong background on current and upcoming wireless technologies and conduct research on wireless networking protocols, algorithms, and concepts to guarantee low/bounded latency, high reliability, and throughput in wireless networks. The work will also involve modeling, simulation, and latest AI/Machine Learning tools to optimize wireless networks for real-time systems and applications. Experience with networking stack, Linux programing, and real-time operating systems is highly desired.

Qualifications:

- PhD or Master's degree with significant research experience in wireless communications and networking is required. - Expertise in modeling and simulation of wireless networks, and experience with MATLAB/ns3 is required. - Basic knowledge of wireless and networking standards, such as Wi-Fi (802.11) and cellular networks (e.g., LTE, 5G), and Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) is required. - Experience in C/C++, phyton and AI/ML tools is highly desirable. - Experience with Linux programming and networking stack is desirable. - Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. - Problem solving skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
