Job Description: 

Intel has announced a major expansion of Intel's production capacities in Europe and plans to develop two first-of-their-kind semiconductor fabs in Magdeburg, Germany, the capital of Saxony-Anhalt. A State Aid Approval procedure for the project is currently pending with the European Commission. According to current planning production at the site is expected to start in four to five years following the European Commission's approval.

This is an onsite position at our campus in Magdeburg, Germany and relocation assistance will be provided. Training assignments may be required at other domestic or international locations.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for overseeing and managing the implementation of strategic program milestones, risk mitigation plans and the overall great Program timeline, budget and scope.

  • This role involves coordinating and aligning various projects to ensure they contribute to the overall strategic goals and objectives of the new Green field Fab.

  • The key responsibilities includes: developing a deep understanding of the organization's overall strategy and working with key stakeholders to translate it into actionable plans and initiatives.

  • Understand Long Rang Plan and different scenarios and translate it into project Milestones, assumptions and triggers.

  • Identify risks for the Project and conduct assessment, drive groups for actions to mitigate risks and track their and L2 Mile stone management, aligned to the OWL project budget, schedule and scope.

  • Responsible for creating detailed DTM with inter-tool logics and dependencies.

  • Preparation and facilitation of activities to reach the above goals: for example of Map days, participate in forums to influence and drive for active achievements of commitments.

  • Working with construction organization on Level 1 and Level 2 Milestones to ensure it ties to FSM requirements for production starts.

  • Training of new members in OWL program. (Analyst, Swimlane owners)

  • Ensure collaboration and repeatability as well as optimization and lesson learns from other Projects in the semiconductor industry

  • Drive the organization to achieve the Mile stones for the Factory production ramp.

  • Perform benchmark with internal and external computation.

Qualifications:

  • Candidates should have a BSc or MSc in Engineering or Science.

  • Experience in the filed of Manufacturing or in other related Semiconductor engineering functional areas.

  • with a similar scope and function.

  • Significant Technology transfer and fab ramp experience with an emphasis on process tool installation and qualification.

  • Substantial strategic planning and management of process and equipment engineering organization experience.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills.

  • Fluency in English and in German.

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
