Job Description: 

Intel has announced a major expansion of Intel's production capacities in Europe and plans to develop two first-of-their-kind semiconductor fabs in Magdeburg, Germany, the capital of Saxony-Anhalt. A State Aid Approval procedure for the project is currently pending with the European Commission. According to current planning production at the site is expected to start in four to five years following the European Commission's approval.

The Layout and scheduler IE Group leader owns the project strategy execution for the green field fabs ensuring the coordinating and managing schedules to ensure efficient production and delivery of semiconductor products.

This is an onsite position at our campus in Magdeburg, Germany and relocation assistance will be provided in terms of a relocation need. Training assignments may be required at other domestic or international locations.

You will be hired into Intel Magdeburg GmbH, spending your training period as a relocation assignment in Ireland and return to Magdeburg as a final placement.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for all activity coordination to meet the project milestones and timelines.

  • Tasks includes: understanding and leading tools and capacity decisions and optimization of layout, coordinating between different constrains, communicating and ensuring other parties in the organization are executing to the layout plan, analyses complex data sets, identify patterns, and make informed decisions based on the analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Industrial Eng degree with experience in operation and supply chain management.

  • Project Mng experience; understand project milestone, dependencies, resources, and loadings.

  • Team lead, at least 2 years' experience is managing PMO's

  • High Communications skills and ability to work variety of stakeholders.

  • Advanced knowledge in Xls, Power BI, MS Projects and VB.

  • Knowledge in Primavera is an advantage.

  • Experience in Semiconductors Industry is an advantage.

  • Experience in Capacity Models is an advantage.

  • Substantial strategic planning and management of process and equipment engineering organisation experience.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills.

  • Fluency in English and in German.
