Job Description: 

Intel has announced a major expansion of Intel's production capacities in Europe and plans to develop two first-of-their-kind semiconductor fabs in Magdeburg, Germany, the capital of Saxony-Anhalt. A State Aid Approval procedure for the project is currently pending with the European Commission. According to current planning production at the site is expected to start in four to five years following the European Commission's approval. Join our Intel Equipment Planning and Coordination - EPCOT - team as a Schedule Planner, to support the EPCOT install program for a fast-paced Install ramp, reporting directly to an Install Engineering Manager.

  • The scope of the teams work includes Integrating, supporting, and driving completion of Progressive Build, Tool Install and Qualification of Toolsets.

  • The role will provide training and mentorship with existing schedule team, base build integration team and will require the successful candidate to develop a strong overall understanding of the design, engineering procurement, construction management and qualification phases associated with delivering this project.

  • In addition, it is desirable that the scheduler understands both the facilities construction and equipment install process.

  • This is an onsite position at our campus in Magdeburg, Germany and relocation assistance will be provided. Training assignments may be required at other domestic or international locations.

You will be hired into Intel Magdeburg GmbH, spending your training period as a relocation assignment in Ireland and return to Magdeburg as a final placement.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Manage schedule controls for Intel construction project- support EPCOT Core team and Area Coordinators in generating what if scenarios, identifying schedule improvements, roadblocks.

  • Define and analyze project critical paths across all schedules - engage with ACs, Construction, Base build schedules to track and support identification and resolution of issues.

  • Organize, prepare, and facilitate interactive planning and schedule review sessions with project team and key stakeholders.

  • Maintain overall milestone program and project schedule including supporting metric generation and tracking.

  • Provide analysis on schedule information, e.g. PAS Indicators, negative float and look-ahead reports.

  • Validate Contractor approaches to measurement and reporting of progress against schedule.

  • Consolidate progress reports for Intel senior management review, including preparation of appropriate project schedule indicators.

  • Provides what-if support to Projects as needed.

  • Proactive troubleshoot schedule issues and gaps and work issues with stakeholders.

  • Supports negative float resolution.

  • Develop method, reports to show changes, impacts from week to week at program level

Qualifications:

  • Industrial Eng degree with experience in operation and supply chain management.

  • Project Mng experience; understand project milestone, dependencies, resources and loadings.

  • Team lead, at least 2 years' experience is managing PMO's.

  • High Communications skills and ability to work variety of stakeholders.

  • Advanced knowledge in Xls, Power BI, MS Projects and VB.

  • Knowledge in Primavera is an advantage.

  • Experience in Semiconductors Industry is an advantage.

  • Experience in Capacity Models is an advantage.
