Responsibilities include:
Partner with groups across Intel to identify opportunities, influence teams toward industry best practices, and help accelerate Intel’s journey to becoming a ‘software first’ company
Work on next-gen systems, developing industry leading technology, while working across multiple disciplines
Designing, developing, enhancing, and testing installation solutions for Intel SW products
Working closely with engineering teams to gather/manage requirements
Role model continuous improvement by delivering innovative solutions and ways of working
Qualifications:
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a similar degree program and 3+ years of experience in the following:
Software development
Experience with one or more scripting languages e.g. Python, Bash, Perl
Solid C++ experience (ideally with experience in creating QT applications with QML based user interface)
Knowledge of installation technologies in any of the following: Windows Installer, RPM, DEB, YUM, APT, PyPI, Maven, Conda, NuGet, etc.
Proficient working with and developing in Linux, Windows, and possibly macOS environments
Advanced debugging and troubleshooting skills
Advanced English level
Preferred qualifications:
Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins
Container technology and orchestration e.g. Docker, Kubernetes
Infrastructure development and/or management
IDE integration e.g. Microsoft Visual Studio, Eclipse
Modern/distributed SCM systems e.g. GitHub
