Job Description: 

This position is the solution architect for Manufacturing vertical sales organization and center of excellence. In this role, you will be responsible for partnering with the sales organization to define the Global-specific Manufacturing strategy and routes to market to create pull for Intel's products, software, and solutions to address key business use cases and pain points. This position requires deep technical knowledge of the Process and Discrete Manufacturing segment and experience implementing smart manufacturing solutions in End User's facilities. This position also requires an understanding of the key business imperatives impacting the Manufacturing segment and the ability to define and architect the solutions, partners, accounts, and programs needed to achieve growth in both our market, our share, and our thought leadership.

Specific activities would include:

  • Advising and influencing key regional partners, system/solution integrators, ISVs, OEMs, ODMs, and channel partners to deliver Intel-based solutions for discrete and process manufacturing including software as a service.

  • Clearly articulate Intel's vision in the Manufacturing space, and communicate the business use cases and technical merits of Intel's full product and software portfolio to internal counterparts and customer/partner decision-makers. Collaborate with field sellers to engage with Industrial End Users to understand their key pain points, use cases, and support needed as they drive their digital transformation.

  • Own developing reference architectures to solve end-user pain points in their Manufacturing, incorporating key ecosystem partners and solutions.

  • Provide Manufacturing domain expertise, represent customer market sentiment, and segment requirements back into the business unit for current/future product planning.

  • Deliver training to field sales teams on the latest manufacturing strategy/solutions including compute features, edge-to-cloud, AI/machine vision, connectivity, and software as a service.

  • Collaborate with Intel marketing to deliver proof points for customer events including collaboration with key end users, ODMs, and ISVs. Work together with the Partner Scale and End Customer Sales teams to identify and engage SI/ISV/EU in the ecosystem.

  • Guide internal training and development content and messaging for sales guides, playbooks, and sales pitch.

  • Excellent organizational, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills. Solution-focused with an ability to solve customer business needs through innovative application of Intel-based edge-to-cloud offerings.

  • Sales experience developing and delivering software as a service business model.

Qualifications:

  • BS/MS in Chemical/Computer/Mechanical Engineering, technical field

  • 10+ years Process Manufacturing segment experience - including driving thought leadership for applications of IoT, edge to cloud and digital transformation programs to the manufacturing industry

  • Demonstrated ability to set strategic positioning for smart manufacturing solutions in process/discrete factories

  • Established the delivery of global manufacturing ecosystem partners for process and discrete manufacturing market

  • Direct sales experience in working with End Users and/or partners within the Manufacturing Vertical to deliver software as a service business model

  • Comfortable contributing at all levels, including at the CxO level

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
