In this role responsibilities include, although not limited to:

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a growing team of experienced engineers in the US and Costa Rica who are focused on improving developer effectiveness across the company

• Provide technical leadership to identify opportunities, remove roadblocks, and mentor team members

• Manage business relationships with senior leaders to understand their strategy, identify where our team can add value, and influence leaders towards long-term partnerships (i.e. business development and account management)

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a similar degree program

• 4+ years of related DevOps experience, for example:

  • Implement, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions

  • Solid experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash

  • Proficient with containerization technologies and orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes

  • Administration of modern/distributed source code management systems using tools like GitHub

  • Implement monitoring, reporting and analytics using tools like Prometheus Grafana, Elasticsearch

• Advanced English level

Preferred qualifications

• Proven experience in a DevOps or Software Engineering leadership role, with the ability to lead and develop high-performing teams

• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation solutions to streamline deployment and infrastructure management

• Experience with software configuration management using tools like SaltStack, Ansible

• Able to influence senior decision makers and lead business development activities
