As part of system enablement team under Finance GPO our analyst/engineers have the opportunity to touch the entire software ecosystem that enables finance team.

We are looking for a Data Analyst Engineer to create and manage solutions that turn data into knowledge to enable impactful financial decisions.

Responsibilities may include but not be limited to: 

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive ETL (extract, transform and load) solution for collecting data from various systems.
• Implementation to automate data quality checks, write new stored procedures to enhance new features, maintenance of the database and data warehouse for storing data.
• Develop and maintain stored procedures /functions/ Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages for end to end processes
• Drive Close/POR (plan of record)/LRP (Large range planning)data accuracy and process improvements with by developing and maintaining reports/visualizations/dashboards in Power BI.
• Proactively identifying and resolving data inconsistencies and inadequacies for critical financial processes

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum qualifications:  

• BSc in Computer Science, System Engineer and Computer Engineer or similar degree with at least 3 years in the following:
  • SQL technology stack.
  • BI technologies
  • Transactional query language TSQL
• 2 years of experience in any Finance field.
• Advanced English level
• Must have permanent-unrestricted right to work in Costa Rica.

Preferred qualifications: 

• Experience with Source Code Management tools. GitHub preferred.
• Experience with Visual Studio 2019+
• Experience with agile project management tools. Jira preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 suite of tools.
• Knowledge of one or more scripting languages. C Sharp.net, React, Python preferred.
• Knowledge in Power BI
• Data model architecture design
• System architecture design
