Job Description: 

Come join a centralized team of Business Operations professionals supporting segments within Corporate IT and Digital Transformation. This team is responsible for establishing consistent strategies and practices that are executed in partnership with segment leadership. The business operations managers in this team will partner closely with the segment Chief of Staff to support the below items in addition to other business operations scope:

  • Drive POR (Plan of Record) development with segment leadership in partnership with Chief of Staff by providing financial acumen and quality assurance of financial reporting.

  • Manage and monitor hiring requests and open requisitions ensuring alignment to POR and act as segment POC for Centralized Hiring team.

  • Develop and drive recognition programs and employee engagement strategies across org.

  • Implement continuous improvement efforts in pursuit of Operational Excellence (OpX) and focus on cost reduction opportunities.

  • Create and implement standard processes and practices where applicable to achieve outstanding operational excellence.

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversees day to day operational activities, interfaces between group management, peer ops teams, and various corporate departments (HR, Finance, Legal), and provides counsel to senior management in assisting with people related issues and/or driving business decision making processes while ensuring compliance with financial, legal and corporate policies and overall organizational structural health.

  • Facilitates the planning and coordination of initiatives and processes for multiple business teams with the goal of driving alignment within the organization and delivering on company goals.

  • Supports and/or leads the management of operating mechanism(s) for monitoring the global health of business.

  • Leads health of business reviews with leaders to maintain alignment of programs and technical solutions to the strategic roadmap and within designated budgets.

  • Identifies opportunities to decrease costs and drive productivity by improving operational effectiveness across segment, finance and operations teams.

  • Contributes to development and implementation of consistently compliant and efficient business operations management policies and practices.

  • Leverages internal and external research to solve problems ranging in complexity, relating to the operation of the business, if required.

  • Works as an individual contributor virtually leading a cross org team of representatives to support the business operations needs of the org.

  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills, including the skills to communicate clearly and listen empathetically.

  • Established track record of responsiveness and outstanding relationship building and networking to negotiate and influence senior level leaders regarding matters of significance to the organization.

  • Flexible and strong skills to embrace change in a fast-paced environment. You must be comfortable operating in ambiguous environments with high degrees of task and deadline pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality.

  • Proven experience embracing diverse skill sets and utilizing those skills to drive cross-organizational issues to resolution.

  • Collaborative, problem solving approaches to work across multiple stakeholder groups including BU ops, segment, finance, HR and partner business groups.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive strategies, work independently, simultaneously manage diverse and extensive assignments while remaining organized and productive in a complex environment.

  • Able to handle high degrees of task and deadline pressure.

  • Comfortable working with stakeholders across various geographies and functions in business and technical discussions.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline with over 6+ years of industry experience. Or a master's in the same field with 4+ years of industry experience or equivalent years' experience in Business Operations, IT, Finance. And 4+ years of experience in the following:

  • Communicating across organizations and levels, including developing and delivering data analysis or presentations to large groups and to senior leaders.

  • Working with business data and with Microsoft office products - especially Excel, PowerPoint, Teams/SharePoint/Wiki, Power BI.

  • Advanced English Level

  • Candidate must have unrestricted permanent right to work in Costa Rica


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Intel product lines; Intel business strategy; Intel supply chain, and financial planning processes.

  • Proven Project Management Experience.

  • Lean and Agile methodology.

  • IT background as well as a Finance background is a significant advantage.

  • Experience with forecasting tools Prognos and BPC.

  • Familiarity with MDG, Ariba, HAT, DARC reporting.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
