Intel is looking for a talented and enthusiastic intern to work as a Firmware Test Automation Engineer within our Foundational Cloud DevOps Solutions team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing and maintaining automated test cases for firmware to ensure its functionality and quality.

 

The person in this role should be passionate in automation of test steps.

Teamwork:
- Proven team collaboration skills.
- Should be pro-active and escalate issues when blocked.

Problem-Solving:
- Able to make decisions that move the project forward.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirement:
Active student pursuing a Bachelor, Licenciatura or Master's degree on Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics or Related field.

At least 50% of the career program completed.

Willing to remain at least 1 year as a student worker.

Advanced English Level.

Costa Rican unrestricted work permit.
6+ months of experience in the following:
- Programming skills in languages such as Python, C, e.t.c.,
- Knowledge in Computer architecture.
- Familiarity in using version control like Git.
- Familiarity reading and understanding platform specifications.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools like Jenkins.
- Understanding of software testing methodologies and tools.
- Understanding of Bios, Firmware concepts.
