Job Description: 

As Lab Product Development Technician you will provide work for a growing internal lab cloud environment. Focus is on time critical and complex technical HW/OS support for pre-production and production platforms.
We are looking for a qualified team player that brings energy and ability to learn fast and grow, with initiative, attention to details, solid problem solving and analytical skills, willing to work with team mates and customers in a professional positive attitude. The working environment is very dynamic, with changing priorities, and effectively handling multiple concurrent projects in a timely manner is a requirement.

The primary responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to:
- Technicians perform functions associated with executing Preventive/Corrective Maintenance of the equipment used in the CRVLE process areas.
- Coordinates execution of product development test plans, test sequences, and directed tests, and ensures adherence to test standards and procedures.
- Operates and maintains lab environments, equipment and tools for product development testing, validation, and characterization
- Prepares test equipment for use by setting up equipment and calibrating it to ensure reliable working order/VPOs.
- Observes test subjects performing tasks to ensure that they are using products correctly.
- Observes equipment during operation to identify malfunctions or operation issues
- Records data points generated by tests to ensure accuracy, analyzes and prepares detailed reports of test results, and identifies any issues with products or materials.
- Conducts tests on products, equipment, or materials to ensure that they meet safety standards or are compatible with other products in controlled environments such as laborator-es.
- Designs specific application parts and collaborates with test and development team to operate various test equipment.
- High degree of judgment and initiative is required in resolving complex nonstandard problems and developing recommendations.
- Normally receives general instructions on routine work, and detailed instructions on new work.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.
- High School Diploma and Technical Degree or Diploma; or advanced Bachelor's studies in Electronics. Electromechanical or Mechatronic.
- 2+ years of experience as technician.
- Able to work during weekends and nights.
- English level: B1 (CEFR).
- Unrestricted Costa Rican work permit.

Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
- Experience using metrology equipment.
- Problem Solving Methodologies.
- Experience on visual inspection operations and defect validation and disposition.
- Windows Software Packages Proficiency.
- Knowledge in Basic Statistical Process Control and Lot disposition tools.
- High Volume Manufacturing/Lab Environment Experience and Familiar with defect signature.
- Knowledge in process overview in CRVLE process.
- Knowledge on Metrology, such as Measurement/Inspection Equipment.
