Job Description: 

Clean room Manufacturing Systems Engineer provides tactical and strategic operational support to ensure the successful development and ramp of a high-volume fabrication facility. Provides technical expertise throughout the product lifecycle, aiding new product introduction (NPI) builds and sustaining or optimizing manufacturing processes. Defines and drives the development and implementation of manufacturing decision support tools and methodologies and maintains standards for operation sequences and processes related to Clean room.
Analyzes current processes to identify areas for improvement and correct process deviations. Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies.
Analyzes Clean room key factory metrics and drive improvements while providing direction that will improve overall factory performance. Analyzes data to identify system enhancements and optimization opportunity and drives the roadmap for implementation. Develops, enhances, and troubleshoots factory reporting systems and works with automation groups to develop business systems and processes to monitor factory performance in regards of clean room compliance. Partners with factory operations management, engineering, and automation stakeholders to understand operational goals, and develops appropriate strategies and tools to design, develop, and scale coordination for all products, and monitor performance. Supports Manufacturing Operations Managers and their direct reports in executing output goals. Collaborates with business partners/stakeholders to solve problems impacting factory operations, capacity, and overall health. Develops and distributes manufacturing documentation in aid of process and build requirements.
- Ensure clean room protocols compliance for CRAT Factory (Particle presence/count).
- Promote a Clean room culture for CRAT Factory.
- Clean room Spec and KPI owner.
- Manage and coordinate clean room improvements with stakeholders.
- Participate with VF in the standardization and improvement processes for Clean rooms.
- Lead improvement projects for clean room areas in CRAT.
- Advice on improvements involving Clean room: practices, consumables, flows, connections.
- Participate and/or act as advisor in shutdown activities to ensure protocols are compliant with Clean room practices.
- Find cost reduction opportunities or efficiencies for Clean room items, practices, spaces.
- Gowning rooms owner: layout, transfer box areas, wipe down areas and passthrough; this includes process, flow, capacity, sitting area, and general gowning requirements.
- Laundry process owner for CRAT clean room garments, which includes inventory management owner, purchases, audits, sponsor of the laundry supplier, forecast and budget management.
- Ensure ESD protocols are compliant with VF practices.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.
- Bachelor/Licentiate degree in Industrial, Chemical or EHS Engineering, related field degree.
- 1+ year high volume production operation management experience.
- 1+ year experience in problem-solving, Lean Six Sigma, FMEA, MBPS
- 1+ year of experience with data analytics, visualization, and inference.

- Advanced English level

- Costa Rican unrestricted work permit

Preferred Qualifications:
- Semiconductor/ Technology Clean room protocols knowledge is desire.

- MBA is a plus
