Job Summary:

The Training Manager for the Hawk and Patriot Sustainment Contract (HPSC) is based Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It reports directly to the HPSC Program Manager. The primary focus is on analyzing the training and development needs of the program according to contractual requirements, and providing an appropriate climate that helps develop employees’ skills and practical knowledge, which leads to improving their efficiency. He also monitors the implementation of on-the-job training provided to the company’s employees and develops weekly and monthly reports for training programs according to the approved models and ensures that they keep pace with the skills and techniques required for each job, which helps achieve the program objectives, plan the training needs for each job, and contract with local companies to cover the training needs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and prepare an annual operational plan that includes general and interim objectives, define tasks for workers, evaluation of training, and determine report models for the implemented programs.
  • Identify and assess the training needs for employees, and work to design tailored training packages that meet these training needs.
  • Work Closely and coordinate with all leadership and departments at the Maintenance Base to facilitate the implementation of training programs, whether on-the-job or courses required by the training needs.
  • Coordinate and follow-up with trainers who train Saudi employees and obtain weekly and monthly reports on each trainee.
  • Directly supervise the progress of the training process, check on the condition of the trainees during the training day, improve engagement and implement the training plan.
  • Submit weekly and monthly reports to the program director and semi-annual reports to GAMI.
  • Monitor training program effectiveness and quality, employees’ attendance, visit the trainers during training, record the positives, give appropriate directions, and feedback.
  • Develop a set of proposals and observations based on the opinions of trainees and present them to the trainers providing the training programs.
  • Determine the training needs  for in-KSA and out-KSA training and contract and collaborate with training institutes and centers in/out the Kingdom to hold courses and training programs suitable for each specialty.
  • Ensure that training certificates are issued to every student participating, after completion of the training program and passed the skills, knowledge and competencies required.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree as minimum in related field.
  • Experience with Air Defense systems.
  • Training courses in the field of Science and Management Training.
  • Strong leadership competencies: (planning, follow-up and evaluation, meeting management, effective communication skills, training evaluation and development, preparation of reports, and application of comprehensive quality concepts and standards).

Qualifications We Value:
