ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE:

The Mater Allied Health team has an opening for a full time physiotherapist to work in the Orthopaedic and Cardiorespiratory teams in a permanent capacity.

  • Feb 2024 start

  • Flexible 7 day roster

  • ADOs available

  • Hours of physiotherapy service are 7am – 9.30pm

  • Varied shift length available: 3 hours - 10 hours

  • Extensive senior support and mentoring

ABOUT YOU

  • Degree in Physiotherapy

  • Minimum 1 year experience in hospital setting

  • Current / eligible to apply for NSW Physiotherapy registration

  • Sound clinical knowledge and experience

  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team

  • Excellent communication, time management, organisational & customer service skills

  • Strong leadership skills

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Day zero mobilisation of joint replacement patients

  • Day stay ACL patients

  • Acute orthopaedic caseload

  • Acute cardio-respiratory caseload

  • Inpatient rehabilitation (joint replacement patients)

  • Liaison with medical and other allied health professionals

  • Quality improvement projects
