Great opportunity for an experience Instrument Technician for a Grade 5 role at St Vincent's Private Hospital East Melbourne CSSD Department. This role is a full time position working Monday to Friday evening/nights.
The CSSD supports the needs of the Operating Theatre through timely processing of equipment and instruments. A great team environment exists with dedicated support focusing on patient centre care.
Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
Supervision and training of CSSD Staff
Assists in service planning and deliver of customer focused service
Trouble shooting of equipment &/or instruments
Monitoring compliance to Australian Standards including auditing
Department compliance to Infection control and OH&S policy and procedures
Active participation to service improvement

ABOUT YOU:
The successful candidate for this Grade 5 position will have:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a supervisory role
- Minimum 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician
- Certificate IV in Sterilisation Services
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Enhanced problem solving skills
