About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team leading our approach to the provision of quality care to clients of the Theranostics and Nuclear Medicine Department. The PET Section Manger will lead and manage the busy PET section of the department, which has 2 PET cameras and performs a wide range of clinical and research studies.

About you:
We are seeking a skilled and energetic Nuclear Medicine Scientist who possess a passion for person centered care. We welcome applications from people who have previous nuclear medicine and PET management experience, as well as those who have been working as a level 3 nuclear medicine scientist, for more than 2 years, who are seeking career progression and rewarding challenges.

Selection Criteria:
1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia
2. Bachelor of Applied Science - Medical Radiation Science - Nuclear Medicine (or an equivalent qualification), current radiation licensing with NSW EPA (under the Protection from Harmful Radiation Act 1990), and actively involved in personal continuing education.
3. Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
4. Previous clinical and operational management experience within a Medical Imaging environment.
5. Commitment to best practice with a focus on customer/patient services. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary management team.
6. Proven aptitude in complex problem solving and decision making individually and as part of the team. Ability to lead, motivate and inspire staff and organise them to achieve organisational outcomes.
7. Proven experience in the application of quality improvement, industrial, risk management and WHS principles.
8. Experience in the development/mentoring of other staff. Experience in managing projects within a complex health care environment.
