Job Description:

About the Practice Nurse Role
You will assist with the provision of nursing care in a community based General Practice setting in collaboration with the GP’s, offering high quality healthcare to the local community. This role will also provide support to the manager and administrative staff as required.

  • In collaboration with the Practice Manager identify opportunities to further strengthen sustainability of the medical services.

  • Proactive involvement in patient health/disease management through care planning, case conferencing and health assessments.

  • Act as Cold Chain coordinator for the practice ensuring compliance with the NHMRC guidelines

  • Clinical procedures are performed in accordance with St. Vincent’s policy and procedures and RACGP Standards for General Practice

Classifications for this position will range from YP3 - YP9 ($69,253.60 - $92,601.60 pro rata per annum).

Your Contribution

  • Current Nursing Registration

  • CPR Certification

  • Experience in Pathology collection

  • Minimum 3 years post nursing registration experience

  • Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain
