Reporting to the Marketing Campaign Manager the Marketing & Events Coordinator is responsible for supporting the sales pipeline and driving demand generation in the Aged Care, Community Care and Retirement Living streams.

You'll be at the heart of our marketing and event initiatives. Your role will be a thrilling blend of creative brainstorming, project management prowess and team collaboration. We want you to take ownership of your projects and drive them to success!

You will be a point of contact for marketing and events enquiries and assist with the development and implementation of campaign strategies across QLD, NSW and VIC. From assisting with the production of campaigns, to styling and running photo-shoots, to assisting with resident and staff interviews, this role will never be boring.

This is a full-time position and offers fantastic work-life flexibility, with hybrid working arrangements (2 days in office at Bowen Hills; 3 days working from home).

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • You'll be a point of contact for marketing and events enquiries and requests for advice.

  • You will assist with the monitoring and measurement of marketing campaigns and their success.

  • Brief and oversee the work of internal colleagues such as designers and content writers.

  • Brief and oversee external providers such as photographers and printers.

  • Strong understanding of branding ensuring that the organisation’s brand and identity is adhered to in campaigns and in all communication channels.

  • Manage the delivery of Retirement Living events including venue selection, budgeting, resource allocation, communications and marketing.

  • Assist with marketing invoices and ensure timely payment to suppliers.

  • Support the corporate website alongside the broader marketing team.

  • Work collaboratively with SVHA communications network to ensure message consistency across all St Vincent's audience groups.

  • Ensure all content upholds the Mission, Vision and Values of St Vincent's and Code of Conduct, and these principles are effectively integrated in all communication.

  • Ensure your area of responsibility always operates in compliance with the Catholic Health Australia Code of Ethical Standards for Catholic Health and Aged Care Services in Australia and relevant legislation.

Things that work for us:

  • Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, public relations or a related discipline.

  • A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar marketing or communications role.

  • Proven experience coordinating marketing, branding & communications activity.

  • Clear understanding of marketing channels, the most effective use of them & best practices.

  • Previous experience in using various digital marketing applications.

  • Ability to report on marketing results.

  • Experience coordinating events and PR activities.

  • Excellent skills in writing and editing for a variety of communication channels with excellent attention to detail.

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

  • People and team focus, with compassion, emotional intelligence and a great work ethic.

  • Ability to think creatively. You thrive on helping people solve their challenges to exceed consumer expectations, are proactive and show initiative.

  • Ability to communicate with empathy to people from various backgrounds, building positive relationships with colleagues and cross-functional teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and generate ideas resulting in continuous improvement and innovation.

  • You enjoy working within a team, and confidence to work independently.

  • A great attitude, flexible & proactive work style.

  • Desire to learn/grow with the role and the business.

  • A knack of always looking towards the next 1/3/6 months ahead.
