About the Role
The Theatre Attendant is to actively participate in providing resources and facilities to ensure that the effective provision of care to patients undergoing surgery. They are to ensure that they participate in all activities to ensure the objectives of the Operating Suite are met.
Duties include:
Ordering and unpacking of required theatre consumables through D365
Restock Anaesthetic rooms, sterile stores, fluids, setup rooms and all areas associated with the Operating Suite Complex
Order and ensure adequate supplies of coffee, tea, milk and biscuits and linen
Cleaning duties
The classifications for this position will be PS25 ($58,791 per annum, pro rata for part time)
Your Contribution
Highly effective communication skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks
The ability to work autonomously while being a team player
Excellent customer service skills with attention to detail
Computer skills
Experience in stores areas desirable
Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain

St Vincent's Operating Suite houses 12 theatres, 12 anaesthetic rooms and a Post Anaesthetic Care Area. We undertake over 12,000 procedures per year in a vast range of highly specialised and complex specialties over a 24 hour period, 7 days per week.
