Job Description:

Position Title: Registered Nurse
Employment Type: 2 x Positions (1x Maximum Term Full Time, 1x Permanent Part Time)
Hours per week: 38
Position Grade: Registered Nurse Year 1-8
Salary: $67,357.32 - $94,568.44 base per annum

About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and multidisciplinary team leading our approach to the provision of quality care to clients of the Chronic and Complex Care Service in the community and ambulatory setting. The registered nurse assesses, plans, implements and evaluates nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary health care team so as to achieve goals and health outcomes.

Provides clinical assessment and care for clients with chronic conditions including but not limited to wound care, catheter care, health coaching, chronic conditions assessment and support to senior nursing staff within COPD, HF and Chronic Disease specific subservices.

About you:

Selection Criteria:
1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia

2. Currently registered as an Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency

3. Demonstrated ability to work within an interdisciplinary team.

4. Demonstrated computer literacy with email and an electronic patient record system

5. Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills.

6. Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads with in a complex environment.

7. Demonstrated customer service and patient centered approach to care.
8. Current NSW drivers license (Class C or above) in order to attend client's home with provided car.
