About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team leading our approach to the provision of quality care to clients of the Tuberculosis Service in our Chest Clinic. The role is part time in our Outpatients Department. This is an exciting opportunity to work with internal and external stake holders.

About you:
We are seeking a skilled and energetic Registered Nurse who possess a passion for person centred care in the TB Service. We welcome applications from people who are passionate about learning and keen to take on a new opportunity. The TB Service Nurse is responsible for the provision of quality TB prevention and control nursing care to clients of St Vincent’s Hospital TB Service (Chest Clinic). The TB Nurse works in consultation with the TB physician/s and TB Coordinator and in collaboration with colleagues throughout the NSW TB Service Network. The TB Service RN works in co- operation with the TB Clinical Nurse Consultant to implement NSW Health TB Program policy and guidelines in the local service.

Selection Criteria:
1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia
2. Current Nursing Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
3. Experience in administering tuberculin skin tests
4. Experience working in outpatient environments
5. Effective written and verbal communication skills
6. Demonstrated leadership ability working in a multidisciplinary health care team
7. Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality patient care
8. Demonstrated commitment to personal and professional development
