Clinical Trials Nurse in the Department of Rheumatology

- Part time ongoing position – 16 hours/week – must be able to work Thursday, potential to be flexible with other days.

About the Role
Your role will include assisting with clinic patients in the privatised rheumatology clinics including providing patient education and injections, and managing all aspects of clinical trial conduct including liaising with trial patients, obtaining blood tests and other trial investigations such as ECGs, coordinating trial logistics, and organising relevant ethics applications.
Classifications for this position will be ZJ4 ($113,646 Per Annum, Pro Rata)
Your Contribution
- Current nursing registration with AHPRA
- Experience in ECG collection and interpretation, venepuncture and blood collection.
- Highly developed interpersonal and time management skills including excellent communication skills
- Good clinical practice certification
- Exceptional attention to detail and highly developed word processing and computer skills

About the Rheumatology Unit
The Department of Rheumatology is a multidisciplinary Unit dedicated to improving the understanding and treatment of Rheumatology disorders. The unit provides a complete clinical and diagnostic service and maintains a strong research focus; principally centred on arthritis, biologics and scleroderma.
