Allied Health or Registered Nurse Grade 4 position
About the Role
This role supports the St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne program of strengthening cultural responsiveness via the provision of a variety of learning opportunities. The purpose of this project is to positively impact the experience of First Nations peoples within the Health Service.
The First Nations Cultural Safety Lead/Facilitator will work closely with the Workforce Capability Manager, Education and Learning and Aboriginal Hospital Liaison Service Manager, Aboriginal Hospital Liaison Service to focus on the development and delivery of education packages and learning via a range of modalities.
Classifications for this position will range will be YZ7 ($113,646.00 per annum pro rata)
Classifications for this position will range will be XV12 - XU18 ($74,308 - $82, 737 per annum pro rata)
Your Contribution
Of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander origin
Qualification in relevant craft group
Certificate III or Certificate IV in a relevant qualification or working towards (desirable)
Demonstrated knowledge of First Nations culture, values, wellbeing and social health issues
Demonstrated understanding of cultural safety
Demonstrated ability to develop, coordinate and deliver engaging learning program
Strong ability to plan programs of work, organise schedules and manage competing demands and priorities
Well-honed interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills, with ability to quickly build rapport and engage at all levels of the organisation
Ability to maintain professional demeanour under all circumstances
Current Victorian Driver’s License
