About the Role
In this role you will be responsible for supporting the professional development of all permanent and program staff across our Critical Care clinical settings. Your primary role is to ensure best practice by providing ongoing education and support for all staff with particular focus on the advancement of knowledge, skills and training with relevance to the Critical Care setting.
Classifications for this position will range will be YZ7 ($113,646.00 per annum pro rata)
Your Contribution
Current Nursing Registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA.
Degree in General Nursing which meets the registration requirements of the Nursing and Midwifery board of Australia.
Postgraduate Qualifications in relevant nursing speciality (Critical Care), preferably a Masters in Advanced Nursing or working towards.
Postgraduate qualification in Education, Clinical Supervision or similar (or working towards)
Minimum 5 years Critical Care nursing experience.
Experience in development, delivery and coordination of Nursing Education Programs.
Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain/ Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willing to obtain (Select which is applicable)

About Education and Learning
St Vincent’s provides extensive Education and Learning support and services to staff and students across the health service. The educational team members are based across multiple campuses including Fitzroy, St George’s Hospital Kew, St Vincent’s on the Park East Melbourne, Caritas Christi Hospice Kew and Port Phillip Prison. This position will primarily be based at St Vincent’s campus in Fitzroy with the expectation of travel to other campuses and health services as required.
